Jacqui has expertise in diagnosing people with various learning difficulties and symptoms affecting their ability to function well in a learning environment and in the work place.  Her many years of extensive work in diagnosing students with learning difficulties, teaching and tutoring at both primary and secondary school levels and being an Irlen Diagnostician and Irlen Clinic Director since 2001 adds to her areas of expertise.

The Irlen Method

A piece of the puzzle for reading problems, learning difficulties, ADD/HD, dyslexia, headaches, migraines, light sensitivity, concussion and traumatic brain injury and other physical symptoms through the use of colour.
The Irlen method has helped children and adults with processing problems for over 25 years.
It is a non-invasive, patented technology that uses coloured overlays and filters to improve the brain’s ability to process visual information, by filtering out offensive light waves.
It is the only method scientifically proven to successfully correct the processing problems associated with Irlen Syndrome.
This technology can improve reading fluency, comfort, comprehension, attention and concentration while reducing light sensitivity.

Jacqui and the team, at Read Easy, enjoy helping people with processing and visual difficulties.  We work in collaboration with Visique Eye Spy in Palmerston North and other optometrists in the Porirua, Kapiti  and Lower Hutt regions, to provide best possible visual screening testing.

"I am so pleased with my Irlen lenses.  I did appreciate your approach, your way of thinking, and how straightforward it was to discuss with you.  I now have the most effective lenses I've ever had."
